Tom is a member in good standing of both the New York and New Jersey Bars, as well as the Essex County and the New Jersey State Bar Associations.  He practices regularly in Federal Court.  After graduating from Boston College with a degree in Finance, and Seton Hall University School of Law, Tom clerked for the Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County.  Thereafter, he worked for a large New Jersey Law firm specializing in commercial litigation, corporate bankruptcy and restructuring, and business dispute litigation. He founded the Bergwall Law Firm, P.C. as a multi-discipline general law practice in 1993 and has represented numerous banking clients, including Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation and Morgan Stanley Credit Corporation.  Ultimately, the firm evolved and garnered numerous six-figure personal injury settlements and has collected millions of dollars in compensation for its clients.  The firm represents clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to local businesses and franchises. The firm currently focuses its resources in the areas of plaintiff personal injury matters, insurance and commercial collection and litigation, guardianships, real estate, and various other types of litigation. The firm practices is both State and Federal courts and in various administrative tribunals.
